When you visit Patagonia, the best way to appreciate the experience is to go hiking around the lakes, the mountains and the lakes. But after two days of hiking, and a little bit of horseback riding, it was time for a good old fashion Patagonian meal. About an hour away from Explora Hotel, there was a farm where they served traditional empanadas and barbecue lamb.
The empanadas were delicious! You could either have them with meat or with corn. Both were fantastic! I also tasted the lamb, even though it felt a little barbaric of the way it was cooked. But since it was just this one time, I decided to get along with the others and enjoy the experience.
Oh man, those empanadas look so good!!!
