Chilean Flamingos – Patagonia

Chilean Flamingos are found in temperate regions of South America, ranging from Chile, to Western Argentina, and Southern Bolivia and Peru. Other flamingo species can be found throughout South America and the Carabean, as well as in Africa, Souther Asia and Europe. The flamingo’s pink colouring is caused by the Beta carotene in their diet that is found mostly in the shrimp they eat.
