They have been called cocoons or mini-suites. The new business class seats of Air Canada’s aircrafts were spacious, multi-task and very well designed. They symbolize a big change of what Air Canada was. These wonderful changes can be observed from the broader seats that can incline at 180 degrees to be able to sleep, the wider LCD screens which offered a big selection of movies and TV series, and the power outlet where you can connect a laptop computer or an I-phone. The business class seats were very practical and comfortable.
Apparently there were some business class seats on other airlines that offer even more space, such as the ones on Singapore Airlines’ airplanes. That’s what Anh Tuan was telling me when we boarded the Boeing 767 in Toronto. We were on our way to Santiago, Chile, and we had a great surprise when we saw the new airplane’s configuration. I was also very excited to go to Chile, as I would visit not only Santiago, but also the Atacama Desert, Patagonia and Easter Island! We had reserved very beautiful expedition hotels where we could not only appreciate the beautiful landscapes, but also rest in isolated and mystical places.
Anto! Next time we’ll try the Emirates, Singapore and Cathay Pacific first class lounge! Does that sound good?
We have to try them all!
